The portal is available 24 hours a day, so you can review your records, update your history, and send messages whenever it is convenient for you.
What You Can Do in the Patient Portal
Our portal is powered by Modernizing Medicine (ModMed) Orthopedics and gives you a private, secure way to stay involved in your care. Through the portal you can:
- Review and verify your contact information
- Enter your past medical history, medications, allergies, social history, family history, and preferred pharmacy
- View your office visit notes and patient handouts, and access a patient education library
- Send secure messages to Dr. Matsuura and our customer service team to request medication refills, make or change an appointment, or ask questions
How to Log In to the Patient Portal
Setting up your account only takes a few minutes. Please follow the steps below:
- Ask our receptionist to send a portal invitation link to a valid email address.
- Watch for an email from Mod. Med. Orthopedics. The link must be used within 48 hours.
- Click on the link in the email.
- Enter your last name and date of birth, then create a password.
- In your internet browser, go to https://petermatsuuramd.ema.md/ema/PatientLogin.action.
- Log in using your email address (in all lowercase letters) and the password you created.
